“Challenges at work - moving to a new team, working under a fast pace team, taking initiative on tasks and voicing out possible solutions, pointing out issues that can help the team to identify early on, high imposter syndrome and low confidence, as well as doubting my own skills.

Biggest takeaways - being able to learn not to overextend myself, staying focus on what is the next best move in my career, working with colleagues, voicing out thoughts or concern, and acknowledging my vulnerability, learning to be confident when working with my manager.

Coaching engagement - it definitely helps me to not overthink and make impulsive decision at work and my career. And Lots of questions being asked and they help me to think and I feel comfortable what I have in mind.

Shine is the type of coach that would guide you by asking questions and providing realistic and smart steps to accomplish next goals. Sometimes it is not always best the coach gives or provides all the answers, she always know how to trigger the mentee to think about what and why you are doing/thinking in a certain way. It helps the mentee to get to the reflective state and to try approaching their own problem. This is building up an independent problem solving skill that would help the mentee to be more independent in the decision making in their career. Working with Shine, you will be able to learn how you can learn to pave your own path based on guiding lights. It also helps you to learn how to be on a different side of the table to know how to help yourself to unblock.”
