🎂 One year since the public launch of my coaching practice today! From bleak outlook to exhilarating excitement and hope—all packed into 365 days. 🤩

The first-time entrepreneur in me couldn’t have imagined writing this post a year after I left my Staff role. The early days were full of uncertainty–May and June 2024 were especially brutal, with few discovery calls and low conversion despite ~400 DMs and countless hours of effort.

But I trusted that the work was meaningful. That I could make a difference for engineers who, like me once, were navigating their careers without much guidance. So I kept going. The overwhelmingly positive feedback from my first few clients confirmed what I hoped: the impact was real.

Eventually, the tide turned. My practice gained momentum in July. And after some events and presentations, I was fully booked by early September—before the 6-month mark! 🎉

📊 Since then, I’ve logged ~200 hours of 1:1 coaching with 20+ paying clients and led workshops for ~200 engineers across 3 continents.

No large social media following. No flashy funnels. No bold claims of changing lives.

Just one client at a time. One hard conversation at a time. One insight at a time.

And it’s been more than enough. 🙌 My practice has stayed at 80-120% capacity ever since.
